Pierre Alexandre brings a suitably sexual aggressiveness to the gender fluid character. If you want to know whether he has the vocal chops to pull off the range of emotions required, just wait for “I’m Going Home” near the end of the show. Pierre pulls out all of the stops to make you actually feel sorry for this otherwise villainous person. He does a tremendous job throughout.
Pierre Alexandre gives the obligatory nod to both Tim Curry and Laverne Cox, and then throws curve balls towards the audience to win them over from the first and last sweet transvestite they saw. He is by far the strongest singer and the most remarkable presence on the stage for the entire show. He dazzles, he preens, and he nails it.
UNBELIEVABLE! WHEN YOU FIRST TOLD ME YOUR IDEA FOR OUR EVENT I THOUGHT THERE WAS NO WAY TO MAKE IT HAPPEN. BUT YOU DID ... AND THEN SOME. IT WAS EVEN MORE AMAZING THAN I EVER DREAMED POSSIBLE. THANK YOU FOR THE MOST MEMORABLE NIGHT OF OUR LIVES.
